Methow Episcopal

He is Risen! The Lord is Risen indeed! Alleluia!

Please join us for services in the Easter season at 5 PM Sundays.

Thank you for visiting us online. We hope you will join us in person! To stay up to date on times, locations and events, please sign up on our email list! We stay mostly current with event photos and reports on our Facebook page as well.

We are a growing community of open and affirming Christians from all backgrounds aged zero to eighty-eight worshiping in the Episcopal tradition. All seekers are welcome any time.

Methow Episcopal began as a small gathering of Methow residents hoping to start a progressive liturgical worship in the Methow Valley. The first service was held on Ash Wednesday 2015 in Mazama using ashes from the Methow Trails fire pit.

Today, we continue to meet Sundays at 5 PM, and have moved to Winthrop to better accommodate people in Mazama, Winthrop, Twisp, Carlton, and the entire Methow Valley. We are a Bishop's Chapel of the Diocese of Spokane.

-- Matthew 18:20

"We are always the 'stable' into which the Christ is born anew. All we really do is keep our stable honest and humble, and the Christ will surely be born."- Richard Rohr

Services

Services are held every Sunday at 5 PM in the log cabin Friendship Alliance Church located at 809 Highway 20 in Winthrop. Youth group is held many Sundays at 4pm.

We follow Rite 2 in the Book of Common Prayer and worship with a mix of traditional and modern music, and follow most services with a simple Agape Meal with music from Taize. View recent photos here.
